1. Nature of the service
BlrSponsors ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an online classifieds directory that lets businesses ("Brands") and individual content creators ("Creators") in Bengaluru discover each other. We are an intermediary that provides an introduction only. We are not an agent, employer, talent manager, advertising agency, broker, guarantor or contracting party for any Brand or Creator.
2. No payment handling or escrow
All agreements, fees, barter arrangements and payments between Brands and Creators (whether by UPI, cash, bank transfer, products, services or otherwise) are negotiated and completed independently, outside the Platform. We do not collect, hold, escrow, route, release, refund or otherwise facilitate any such funds. We do not verify, mediate or enforce any agreement between users.
The only amount collected by BlrSponsors is the contact-unlock fee described below.
3. Contact-unlock fee
A Brand may pay a one-time fee (currently ₹99, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise) to view a specific Creator's WhatsApp number and email address. The fee is for access to contact information only. It is not a commission, a deposit, an advance or a payment towards any campaign, and it does not guarantee a response, a collaboration or any outcome. Fees are non-refundable except where the contact details were not delivered to you due to a technical fault on our side, in which case we will, at our option, restore access or refund the fee. Online payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway under its own terms.
4. Disclaimer of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BlrSponsors, its owners, directors, employees and affiliates bear zero liability for, and you release us from any claim arising out of or relating to:
- breach of any contract, oral or written, between Brands and Creators;
- unfulfilled, delayed, defective or non-compliant campaign deliverables;
- non-payment, part-payment, late payment, chargebacks, fraud or other financial default by any user;
- content disputes, including authorship, usage rights, takedowns, defamation, intellectual property claims and platform (e.g. Instagram) policy violations;
- the accuracy of follower counts, engagement rates, identity, location or any other profile detail, which are supplied by users and are not guaranteed by us;
- any loss of revenue, profit, goodwill, data or any indirect, incidental or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct or any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
5. User responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old and legally able to contract.
- You are solely responsible for due diligence on the counterparty, written agreements, tax (including GST and income tax) and invoicing.
- Creators must disclose paid or gifted partnerships as required by law and the ASCI Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media.
- You must not use contact details obtained through the Platform for spam, harassment, resale, scraping or any unlawful purpose, and must not share them with third parties.
- Do not post unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or infringing content, or content that promotes products or services prohibited by law.
We may remove listings, suspend access or refuse service at our discretion, including for suspected misuse.
6. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlrSponsors from claims, losses, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
7. Privacy and personal data
We collect the details you submit (such as name, Instagram handle, neighborhood, email and WhatsApp number) to operate the directory. By listing yourself as a Creator you consent to your contact details being disclosed to Brands who pay the unlock fee. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may request access, correction or erasure of your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to . We do not sell personal data.
8. Intermediary status and grievances
The Platform acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and does not initiate, select or modify the content that users post. To report unlawful content or raise a grievance, write to our Grievance Officer at . We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
9. Intellectual property
The BlrSponsors name, design and code are our property. Content submitted by users remains theirs; they grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform. Ownership and usage rights in campaign content are for the Brand and Creator to agree between themselves.
10. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
